WeddingRishta.com is owned by "Mineer", a company founded by Mridula Bhargav (Minnie) and Neera Srivastava. They are first cousins and both are in their sixties. Minnie and Neera are an inspiration to the world by proving that age is just a number. Both Minnie and Neera are entrepreneurs at heart and have a wide gamut of business experience under their belts. Their children are married and well-settled in India and abroad. A time in life, when ladies of their age retire, these two enterprising women have embarked on this journey to help you find your soulmate!
WeddingRishta.com was envisioned after Minnie and Neera's disappointing & unsatisfying experiences in finding a suitable match for their children with some of the available matrimonial websites, which prompted them to conceptualize a genuine, effective, and a user-friendly matrimonial portal. About the Founders
Minnie Bhargav
Minnie was born and brought up in Delhi, and is an alumna of Convent of Jesus & Mary and Jesus & Mary College. She further pursued her Ph.D in Mass Media from Delhi University but could not complete it as she had to relocate to Mumbai after marriage. Since then, Minnie has more than twenty five years of teaching experience. During her illustrious career, she has also given private tuitions to several students who now have successful careers . Minnie is also an accomplished author, with her books being published under Macmillan Publishers. She has a sweet and loving nature and is an avid traveller. Her hobbies include reading and cooking.
Neera Srivastava
Neera was born in the small town of Sultanpur, UP. Being a daughter of a District Magistrate, she has travelled across the country and eventually settled in Mumbai (she still likes to call it Bombay) after her marriage. Neera holds a graduate degree in Science and a post-graduate degree in Economics. An entrepreneur by nature, she started out as a fashion designer and ran a successful boutique. During her career, she has also been a well-respected educator. Neera enjoys playing badminton and in fact, was a University-level badminton champion. She loves watching movies and exploring different places, cultures, and cuisines.
